Introducing Happy Harvest! This whimsical autumn design features pumpkins and floral elements, while pops of teal add a modern twist to traditional fall colors.
PATTERN DETAILS:
The model was stitched on 32ct linen using shades of green, orange, yellow, brown, and blue. The pattern calls for whole stitches only, and uses floss from Weeks Dye Works and DMC. DMC equivalents are provided. The stitch count is 96w x 98h, which stitches up to be about 6 1/8"w x 6 1/4"h on that fabric.
RECREATE THE LOOK:
Finish Fabric: French Chateau Gingham Carrot Yardage by Andover Fabric, SKU 9092.
Cording: I spun the cording with my Kreinik custom corder and DMC 838. To get the thickness, I used 7 lengths of the full 6-ply DMC floss. Bow: The brown ribbon is a 1.5" chocolate colored burlap ribbon that came from my stash. The Green Gingham ribbon is a 3/8" sage and ivory ribbon from Hobby Lobby, SKU 979971. The Golden ribbon is a 3/8" wide grosgrain ribbon, also from Hobby Lobby. The SKU is 171595. The button is just a 1/2" brown button that I pulled from my stash.
The materials listed above are unique to this piece. The foundational supplies (the board, glue, batting, etc--stuff you can't see) are the same no matter what I am finishing, so I buy those in bulk and keep them on hand. You can see what those materials are on the Tools and Organization page.
